For Boys and Girls 15 Years of Age
Have you ever dreamed of being on camp staff? If you're 15 years old, have completed the 9th grade, and ready for an exhilarating challenge, your dreams could come true. By joining the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program you'll be on your way to becoming a staff member. Working at camp just might be the most challenging, most meaningful, most exhausting and most fun job you’ve ever had!
THE C.I.T. PROGRAM:
1. Take part in leadership training workshops.
2. Assist Senior and Junior staff.
3. Gain skills in areas of personal interest such as: crafts, boating, aquatics, sports, rocketry, archery, nature, etc.
4. Experience a small group living situation by staying in cabins with other campers and staff.
5. Develop an understanding of the group-work process.
6. Join in a variety of camp activities and programs, including aquatics and other special events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Completion of the 9th grade and be 15 years of age
2. Enjoy working with children.
3. Ability to get along well with others.
4. Possess good personal habits in regards to dress, language and personal conduct.
5. Mature enough to put the interests of campers ahead of own self-interest.
