Meals …
Meals are well-balanced and are served by our food service staff. Meals are scheduled for the entire camp to eat together and are a great time to relax and socialize with new and old friends. Three meals a day are provided. Meals are varied day-to-day and are plentiful.

Our camp Dining Hall can serve limited special diets if your camper requires uncomplicated dietary needs. Please inform the Camp Berger office in writing of any special needs at least 1 week prior to arrival.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served family style. It is our sincere wish that mealtimes are pleasant and help to build the camp community. Good manners are expected from campers and staff alike. Likewise, everyone is expected to help with set-up and clean up.

Snacks are available for purchase through the Camp Store, but are limited to a maximum of two edible items per day per camper.

NOTE: For the best interest of the camper's health and the cabin group program, DO NOT SEND candy, cookies, snacks, drinks or any type of food with or to your camper or for your camper’s cabin group. Well-meaning parents who send food to camp unintentionally make it most difficult for parents wanting to cooperate. Food in the cabins will attract mice, ants, and other critters, and may cause "sharing problems" within the cabin. We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The camp menu provides a well balanced diet, and snacks are available at the Camp Store. All care packages will be opened with your child's counselors' help, and food will be confiscated if found.
